       It is your sole responsibility to assure yourself that any Teacher you engage meets your requirements.

       This includes, but is not limited to:

         Verifying their qualifications, credentials, and experience.

         Checking references and conducting independent background checks where necessary.

         Requesting to view original documentation such as DBS certificates or professional certifications.

  2. 2.2 Direct Negotiation with Teachers

    You acknowledge that all communication, negotiation, and agreement of terms (e.g., payment, lesson times, or cancellation policies) are conducted directly between you and the Teacher.

    A Teacher 2 Tutor is not a party to these agreements and bears no responsibility for their terms, performance, or outcomes.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

  1. 3.1 No Guarantee of Services

       While we strive to provide a quality platform, we do not guarantee that you will find a suitable Teacher or that the services offered by Teachers will meet your expectations.

       The suitability, legality, and quality of the services provided by Teachers are entirely the responsibility of the Teacher.

       3.2 No Endorsement of Teachers

       A Teacher 2 Tutor does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the qualifications, credentials, or suitability of any Teacher listed on the platform.

       Even if a Teacher is marked as "Regulated," you must verify their documentation and conduct your

       own due diligence.

         A Teacher 2 Tutor disclaims all liability for:

         Any services provided by Teachers, including but not limited to issues of quality, legality, or suitability.

         Disputes, claims, or damages arising from agreements or interactions between you and any Teacher.

         Losses incurred from reliance on any information provided on the website.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the website content, including text, images, design, and branding, are the exclusive property of A Teacher 2 Tutor

    Request to view original documents, especially if the Teacher is marked as "Regulated."

You agree to use the platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Any misuse of the platform, including but not limited to fraudulent activity, may result in termination of your access.

A Teacher 2 Tutor is a directory service that connects teachers, tutors, and subject specialists with parents, guardians, and adult learners ("Clients"). We provide a platform for you to create a profile and advertise your tuition or specialist services.

We do not provide tuition services ourselves, nor are we responsible for the quality, legality, or suitability of the services you provide. Teachers are independent contractors and are not employees of A Teacher 2 Tutor. We do not govern the terms of your services or oversee payment arrangements between you and your clients.

2. Profile Requirements

  • Accuracy: You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile.
  • Profile Photo: You may upload a profile photo that will be publicly visible. You retain ownership of this image. Inappropriate or offensive photos will be removed.
  • Updates: It is your responsibility to keep your profile information up to date.

3. Minimum Conditions to Advertise

  • Qualifications and Experience: You must provide accurate information about your qualifications and experience. Misrepresentation may result in removal from the platform.
  • DBS Clearance: If you wish to advertise yourself as "Regulated" on our platform, you must provide a valid DBS certificate number for verification. Teachers who do not provide a DBS number can still advertise, but their profiles will not include the "Regulated" stamp.
  • Compliance with Laws: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to working with children and vulnerable adults.

4. Regulated Stamp and DBS Checks

To receive a "Regulated" stamp on your profile, you must submit your DBS certificate number. We will verify this through the UK government’s DBS update service. Please note, the "Regulated" stamp only indicates verification at the time of submission. It does not guarantee ongoing validity or suitability. Providing a DBS certificate is optional but encouraged for increased credibility.

We may provide links to third-party services for DBS checks. However, we are not responsible for the accuracy, performance, or outcomes of those services.

5. Lesson Arrangements and Resources

  • Location : Lessons may take place at the client’s home, online, or at an agreed venue. These arrangements are solely between you and the client.
  • Resources: Any teaching materials required for lessons are your responsibility. A Teacher 2 Tutor does not provide or oversee these materials.

6. Payment and Refunds

  • Payment Terms : Payment terms, methods, and schedules must be agreed directly between you and your clients. A Teacher 2 Tutor does not process payments, mediate disputes, or provide refunds.
  • Third-Party Payment Platforms: If you use a third-party payment platform (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), the terms of that platform will apply.
  • Fees: By registering on our website, you agree to pay the fees outlined on our pricing page. These may include a subscription fee or other charges for additional features or visibility. Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in our refund policy.

7. Responsibility and Liability

  • Service Quality : You are solely responsible for the quality, content, and delivery of your services.
  • Client Verification: It is your responsibility to conduct any necessary checks on clients, such as safety when meeting in person.

Your profile must include a clear, recent photo and accurate information about your qualifications and services. You retain ownership of the content you submit but grant A Teacher 2 Tutor a non-exclusive license to use it for marketing and promotional purposes. We reserve the right to remove any content that is inappropriate, misleading, or violates these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property
