AT2T was founded by teachers who, at one point, lost their passion for the profession. However, we
rediscovered the enjoyment again offering tuition. We established AT2T to share that experience with

At A Teacher 2 Tutor, we provide a directory of teachers, tutors and subject specialists. For a small monthly fee, you gain visibility on our platform, connecting you with parents and students seeking tuition.
We currently offer two subscription options:
A rolling monthly subscription or a 6-month plan for greater value.
Your fee is fixed, regardless of how many hours you tutor—whether it’s one or one hundred. To put it into perspective, if you charge £40 an hour, you’ll recoup the standard monthly subscription fee in about 22 minutes of your first session that month. Everything else you earn is entirely yours.
We also provide the option of a regulated section for tutors who choose to add an extra layer of trust through enhanced DBS checks. However, this is entirely optional. Whether you utilise this feature or not, our platform supports your tutoring journey on your terms.
At A Teacher 2 Tutor, we believe in keeping things simple. Unlike some platforms that require endless webinars, phone interviews, or unnecessary hoops to jump through, we cut straight to the point.

It is not essential at this time. However, we actively encourage everyone on our site to get an Enhanced DBS. The advantages are numerous. It will boost your credibility, your page will receive more traffic and it will give the prospective parents peace of mind. We have joined forces with UCheck who will process your Enhanced DBS Claim quickly and efficiently (you can use other providers). When it is returned to you, simply tell us the DBS number and once verified, you will receive a Regulated stamp and be upgraded to the Regulated part of the website. Did you know? An new Enhanced DBS lasts for life. So although there is a one-off fee attached to getting one, in the bigger picture, the boosting of your listing may mean you receive more clients which will, in an hour or two of tutoring, offset that initial cost.
